Academic Profile

ALI MAURICIO REYES
Has practiced English all his life, is a Biologist by profession, now uses it to talk to the artists. Also needs is to read articles and work on his thesis. He is a beginner, is able to undestand basic questions and give one word answers, but we need to work on making full sentences.

DUNIA SICAIROS
Said she is a beginner, used to take classes with us a year ago, but only for a month or so. She likes the language personally, does not use it for work. Would like to be able to chat with foreign artists, or when she travels. Would like to practice more, not so much theory. She can understand and give very short, one word answers, or answers in Spanish. Her writing was also short, she is not a total beginnner but needs to go back and start from the basics.

HORACIO ALEXIS ZAZUETA
He is a pre beginner. He is aware of the basic structures such as SVO but he doesn’t use them. He seems shy and not able to produce a single sentence in English. He said he had a basic intruction from school. He doesn’t use it, just writing.

NAOMI SERRANO
She declared from the very start she wants to start her English studies from scratch. In spite of the previous, she has been preparing herself for these new English classes by listening to podcasts in English.

PAULA CORRALES
She is a complete beginner, requieres a lot of reinforcement and simple sentences. She was with us before but she felt that the group was too advanced.

ROQUE ALFONSO HERAS
He is an persistent student, level A1+ according to his last assesment. He is able to set basic sentences but most of them lack the right vocabulary. He has a basic understanding of vocabulary but lacks the pronunciation and relies a lot on Spanish. He has a hard time understanding English as well.
